雪莉的成绩是B.A. in Child Development from Stanislaus State University, an M.A. in Counseling from 萨克拉门托 State University, and a 小组.D. in Clinical 心理学 from 加州 Southern University. She has over 26 years of experience as a counselor in elementary, middle and high school. She has taught Child Development & Learning Environments,  领导 in Advocacy, 小组chopathology and 小组chopharmacology as an adjunct faculty member with Alliant University and has over ten years of experience as an adjunct faculty member with the University of 凤凰城.  She has provided numerous workshops and trainings for children, 青少年, staff and mental health providers relative to trauma, 危机反应, suicide prevention and intervention along with a variety of topics to break the stigma of mental health.  She developed a countywide 危机反应 protocol for Administrators, 临床医生, 辅导员, school psychologists and staff/community members.  She sits on the Calaveras County Mental Health Board and is the co-owner of Metta Services, LLC providing consultation, collaboration and implementation of a variety of mental health services and supports for children, 青少年, adults and providers within her community.
